Overview
Updated Q2 of 2026, the new DOT layout includes a full view of current and historical Census and Coverage filings. New additions include type of commodities hauled, authorization type and safety information (inspection/violation and crashes).
Insurance Data
Policy info includes coverage effective dates, type of coverage (primary, excess, cargo), policy #, carrier and coverage amount.
Mileage, Units & Drivers
This information comes from the census file, which is reported reflecting the past, whereas coverage information is future oriented, which is why current term coverage will not always have this information, because it wasn't reported yet.
Commodities
Commodities, or cargo hauled has various options such as meat, grain, gas, oil, household, mail, etc. and will display as badges
Safety/Violations
Clicking on the term will display available information ranging from clean inspections to poor ones, as well as traffic infractions, or infractions due to accidents.
Crashes
Also displayed by clicking the term.
Display Areas
Summary information is displayed in the upper left section on the Policy tab

Search
Target by DOT carrier, number of drivers or units.
