X-State

X-State summarizes multi-state operations. Below is a description of each section.

Account Summary

indicates number of states with active coverage, number of carriers and groups providing coverage, average LCM, total premium (as available, by state) and premium change from prior term.

Premium & LCM Graph

indicate changes over time, broken down by state. (availability varies by state)

Carrier Matrix

provides carrier history to see how stable (or volatile) the prospect's history has been.

Carrier Matrix

It is possible to have multiple carrier grps in the same term. A darker shade indicates more control, lighter shade less control. (i.e. carrier A has 3 out of 5 states will be darker than carrier B who only has 2 out of 5 policy states)

Class Matrix

displays all primary class codes for a given term.

Class Matrix

Same as carrier matrix, a business can have multiple class codes in the same term, which is dependent on the operations conducted in a given state.

Current Term Breakdown

is a spreadsheet that details the current term. Some of it is for validation purposes. 'Policy State' is the state with coverage reported. 'Primary State' is determined to be where the insurance transactions occur. The primary state should read the same for all rows, otherwise there may be an error.

This section is also helpful for a better understanding of how the business operates (e.g. a furniture maker in GA with retail stores in FL and SC). The last fields, EE (employees) and Sales are keyed values, meaning we use the numbers 1-9 to show you the range you see:
